A valve stem is a self-contained valve which opens to admit gas to a chamber (such as air to inflate a tire), and is then automatically closed and kept sealed by the pressure in the chamber, or a spring, or both, to prevent the gas from escaping. They are most commonly used on automobile and bicycle wheels, but also for many other applications.

Schrader

Schrader valves (also called American valves) consist of a valve stem into which a poppet valve is threaded with a spring attached. They are used on virtually all automobile tires, and in the United States, on most wider rimmed bicycle tires. In addition to tires, Schrader valves of varying diameters are used in refrigeration and air conditioning systems, plumbing, fuel injection engines, suspension systems, and SCUBA regulators, allowing the user to remove and attach the hose while in use. Another use for Schrader valves is in the fuel injector rail of many automobiles, where it is used as a quick and easy point to check fuel pressure and to connect a cleaner injection device or cleaner cartridge.

Presta

Presta valves (also called Sclaverand valves or French valves) are normally only used on bicycles. Das Kombinations-Spritzgusswerkzeug für zwei Komponenten

Das Spritzgie?en von Teilen aus zwei Komponenten ist eine weitverbreitete Technologie. Seltener werden Teile aus drei oder vier Komponenten gefertigt. Das sp?ter beschriebene Kombinations-Spritzgusswerkzeug ist auch für mehr als zwei Komponenten geeignet. Die Notwendigkeit, zwei oder mehr Komponenten für ein Spritzgussteil zu verwenden, soll nur kurz erl?utert werden. Oft ist der gleiche Thermoplast nur verschiedenfarbig, manchmal wird eine elastische Dichtlippe angebracht oder z. B. eine Lagerschale aus GFK integriert. Voraussetzung für die Verwendung von verschiedenartigen Kunststoffen ist die Verschwei?barkeit der hei?en Schmelze der 2. Komponente mit dem abgekühlten Teilstück der 1. Komponente. Die bisher vorherrschende Technologie sieht für die Kombination von zwei Komponenten zwei Werkzeuge mit zwei Formnestern vor. In das erste Formnest wird die erste Komponente eingespritzt und bis zur Erstarrung abgekühlt. Danach wird von Hand oder mechanisch das abgekühlte Teilstück in das zweite Werkzeug gelegt und mit der zweiten Komponente durch Einspritzen verbunden. Bei mehr als zwei Komponenten müssen entsprechend viele Werkzeuge vorgesehen werden.

Werkzeuge und die eventuellen Umsetzger?te sind teuer, durch das Abkühlen der beiden Teile und das Umsetzen entsteht eine lange Taktzeit, bei Kleinserien, die von Hand umgesetzt werden, ergeben sich hohe Stückkosten.

Der Anmelder hat im Aprilheft 2009 der Fachzeitschrift &ldquor;Plastverarbeiter” einen Artikel mit dem Titel &ldquor;2 K auf Standardmaschinen” ver?ffentlicht. Darin wird die Kombination von zwei Komponenten in einem gemeinsamen Werkzeug beschrieben. Allerdings bleiben dabei die einzelnen Komponenten ungeformt und deshalb ist das Verfahren unbrauchbar. In erster Linie wird in dem Artikel die M?glichkeit eines Schmelzentransports in einer 6 m langen, begleitbeheizten und w?rmeisolierten Rohrleitung beschrieben.

Nachfolgend die Erkl?rung des Kombinations-Spritzgusswerkzeug und die Beschreibung des dafür entwickelten Verfahrens. Die Verbesserung erspart ein zweites Werkzeug, das Teil erfordert nur eine Abkühlzeit und keine Umsetzung der erstarrten 1. Komponente. Zudem verschwei?en beide Komponenten als hei?e Schmelzen und schaffen damit eine bessere Verbindung. Es wurde nicht erprobt, doch besteht die M?glichkeit, da? sich Thermoplasten als hei?e Schmelzen verbinden lassen, die nach dem jetzigen Verfahren nicht kombinierbar sind.

Vorausseztung für das Funktionieren ist der Einsatz von Hei?kanaldüsen, die den Angu? noch bei bestehendem Nachdruck hermetisch versiegeln. Dies ist der Fall bei der unter Nr. 103 40 108.3-16 patentierten Hei?kanaldüse, der sog. Intervalldüse. Durch Abschalten der Düsenheizung entsteht noch bei anstehendem Nachdruck in der Düsenspitze ein kalter Pfropfen, der den Anschnitt wirksam versiegelt. Bei permanent beheizten Hei?kanaldüsen, wie z. B. Torpedodüsen, ist der Transportweg der Schmelze bis zum Plastifizierzylinder der Spritzgussmaschine thermisch ge?ffnet, sodass in einem gemeinsamen Formnest beim Einspritzen der 2. Komponente die Schmelze der 1. Komponente teilweise oder ganz verdr?ngt wird. Auch mechanische Verschlu?düsen sind wenig geeignet. Auch hier wird der Angu?punkt st?ndig beheizt und beim Entformen kann sich die plastische Seele der beiden Komponenten unterschiedlich entspannen, sodass die gemeinsame Grenzfl?che ungeregelt verschoben wird.

Es gibt zwei Typen von Kombinations-Spritzgusswerkzeugen. Bei Typ I ( und ) wird das Formnest b der Komponente B beim Einspritzen der Komponente A durch einen Schieber c ausgefüllt. Der Spritzdruck der Komponente B drückt diesen Schieber gegen die Kraft der Feder e aus dem Formnest und füllt dieses aus. Es entsteht ein 2 K-Teil a b mit der Grenzfl?che h. Da sowohl in a als auch in b die plastische Seele nicht entspannt wird, findet eine Verschwei?ung der beiden Komponenten in flüssigem Zusatnd unter einem geeigneten Nachdruck statt. Man kann natürlich die Feder e durch eine hydraulischen oder pneumatischen Antrieb ersetzen, doch ist dabei ein Vakuum beim Füllen von b zu vermeiden. Nochmals der Füllvorgang: Nach dem Füllen des Formnests a versiegelt Düse d den Anschnitt und Komponente B verdr?ngt Schieber c und erzeugt einen gemeinsamen Nachdruck, der auch nach dem Absetzen des Nachdrucks und nach der Entformung wegen der Versiegelung der Düsen d und d erhalten bleibt. Wegen des stets laminaren Flie?ens der Schmelzen ist keine St?rung der glatten Grenzfl?che h und h zu befürchten. http://www.htmould.com/gen/about.html
